Your Journey to Finding the Perfect Pup
Our 9-step process is all about making your journey smooth from start to finish. Each step helps us understand what you’re looking for in a pup, and lets you get familiar with your future furry family member. Here’s what the road ahead looks like.
We Want to Learn About You!
Fill out and submit our Adoption Application Form.
Learning About You & What You're Looking For
Once we receive your application, we’ll review it and get back to you. We’ll discuss what you’re looking for, our upcoming litters, and your position on our waiting list.
When You're Ready to Say YES!
We require a non-refundable reservation fee of $500, plus g.s.t ($525.00). This secures your place on our waitlist for a puppy matching your criteria. You can learn more about our Payment Policies on our Policy Page.
Keeping You in the Loop from Birth to Homecoming
Once a litter is born that fits what you’re looking for, you’ll get an email from us. This way, you can double-check that the timing and litter are a good fit for you and your family. After you’re set on a specific litter, you’ll receive regular updates in your inbox, including info on the puppies’ development and new photos each week.
Matching You With the Perfect Puppy
When the puppies hit the 3-week mark, we’ll ask you to fill out our Puppy Personality Poll. This gives us information on your lifestyle, what you’re like, and what you’re hoping for in a puppy. Combined with your first application and temperament testing done just prior to 8 weeks old, we’ll be able to find the best match.
Meet the Puppies
At 6 weeks old, we set up a virtual visit for you and other future puppy families. This is your chance to ask all your questions and get up close for personal introductions. We schedule these live chats for when the pups are awake and lively, letting you see them in action.
Taking Care of the Last Payment After the Virtual Visit
After the 6 week virtual visit, we’ll send you an invoice for the final payment. At that time, you’ll need to pay $3,000, plus GST, making it a total of $3,150.
Your Perfect Puppy Match Awaits
At 8 weeks, we do temperament testing on each puppy. Temperament tests are a series of activities and observations designed to assess a puppy’s behavior, personality, and tendencies. This, combined with your first application and Puppy Personality Poll, will help us match you with your perfect puppy.
Your New Family Member is Ready to Come Home
At 9 to 10 weeks, the wait is over and it’s time to bring your pup home. We’ll give you a date and time to come get your new Wonderful Woofie — IT’S GOTCH DAY!
What To Know if Things Don’t Go As Planned
In the event that we cannot provide you with a puppy, or if you cannot take a puppy at the time of availability, you can return to the waitlist. Just know the reservation fee is non-refundable unless we are, for some reason, unable to provide you with a puppy.
