1. Natural Solutions for Dog Dandruff
STINKY Dog Shampoo Remedy for Dandruff.. or Botanical SELSUN Blue Shampoo ( has essential oils), both great for Yeast.
- 1 cup of green tea,
- 2 tablespoons of castile soap
- 10 drops of lavender essential oil
- 2 tablespoons of ACV
Apply weekly, leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse well.
2. Quick Relief for Dog Coughing
Suro Organic Elderberry Syrup. An easy, safe, and effective option for cough. Elderberry and propolis provide antiviral and anti-inflammatory benefits, while ACV and honey combat bacteria and swelling.
- Elderberry syrup
- Pure Honey
- Propolis (from honeybees)
- Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)
Mix elderberry syrup, pure honey, propolis, and ACV for a natural cough remedy. The dosage is ½ teaspoon per 10lbs of body weight.
3. Arthritis and Pain Management
DMSO (Dimethyl Sulfoxide) – Discovered by a Russian Chemist in the 1800’s
DMSO is a sulfur-containing compound great for arthritis and combined with cannabidiol for Feline Urinary Tract Disease.
Apply topically to affected joints. Use gloves and consider applying CBD first for enhanced penetration.
4. Natural Antibiotics
Clip and cleaned wound using chlorhexidine (anti-bacterial cleansing agent) as a flush. Then use Colloidal Silver orally and topically.
Dosage: ¼ teaspoon/10lbs body weight twice daily, applied topically.
5. Combatting Allergies Naturally
Quercetin – Found in apples, red wine, onions, and blueberries, quercetin is a natural anti-inflammatory used for allergies.
Dosage: Approximately 3mg per lb twice daily.
6. Digestive and Respiratory Relief
Slippery Elm – bark of the Slippery Elm tree. Useful for chronic renal failure, vomiting, diarrhea, IBD, and coughing.
Mix the fine ground powder with water to form a soothing paste. Soothes by coating the throat and intestinal tract.
Dosage: 100mg per 10lbs daily.
7. Multipurpose Castor Oil
Effective for constipation, allergies, arthritis, wound healing, dandruff, and acne.
The active ingredient is ricinoleic acid. It’s safe, and has been used topically for wound healing and relief of minor arthritis pain. Try it out on your own hands as it starts out very thick/viscous but does get absorbed.
Dosage: ½ teaspoon per 10lbs for constipation and topical application as needed.
8. Innovative Allergy Remedy
Beta-Sitosterol – A plant nutrient from soy effective for atopic dermatitis such as itching, scratching and hair loss
Dosage: 1-2mg per lb twice daily, with a minimum trial of 4 weeks.
9. Fenbendazole for Cancer
Panacur for Cancer – Inspired by Joe Tippens’ story of remission, fenbendazole has shown promise in cancer treatment.
Doses for deworming 50mg/kg once daily for 3 days
Dosage for cancer: 50mg/kg once daily for 3 days on, 4 days off, with a trial period of one month.
